Features of Local Self-Government Models Formation Construction in Commonwealth of Independent States Countries

Abstract: 

In the XX-XXI centuries in the CIS member states local self-government reforms took place, as a result of which a new structure was formed in most of the Commonwealth countries and tendencies for the further development of the most important institutions of public authority were laid. In the article features of building models for the formation of local self-government in the CIS countries are discussed, problems that hamper the process of further development of local government in the countries in question are highlighted.
